If you could have any new shop in the village what type would it be?

I am currently looking at the shops in the village and even as far as budgens and the furniture shop where dillons used to be. My first thought was to have a gym in the village , not a large one but one that is adequate for all ages. My second thought is a snooker and pool hall. Both these suggestions would keep the young kids of Dinas Powys off the streets and give the town a nicer atmosphere. Looking at every possibility, i have come to a decision that the best place to locate these two ideas would be in the furniture shop by budgens. Although this shop sells some lovley items it cannot keep up with the main shops such as Ikea. Please give your thoughts on this opinion and maybe we could achieve these plans in the near future.

If i could have any shop in the village i would probably want one which sells shoes.

What worries me about snooker/pool halls, is the amount of people you get hanging around outside, it may well increase anti social behaviour, especially if the hall is granted an alcohol licence.

I think the snooker/pool hall is a great idea. Deffinately good for the younger residents. I dont see why it couldnt be in the wesley court area though in the village. That place has been under development for ages and nothings happening.
