I had a chance to ask a few people tonight. Most of which were in DP at the time mentioned but nobody, as yet, can recall this business...

But, the following has been suggested..

There is a company called Kabel Management Services Limited that are based in a building at the end of George's row which a few people are fairly sure used to be a car garage at some point.

I have emailed them tonight to ask if they can confirm any of the building history.

George's Row is almost exclusively residential, except for Kabel's building. I would say this could well be the address of the business..

If you have a look at George's row on google earth you can see most of the houses on the right going up the road a pre 1960 but there is a small business unit at the mouth of the road on the right...

I'll keep looking.

A 1172 in this case was a two seat sports/racing car rather than a single seater, they would be fitteed with a Ford 1172 cc, 4 cylinder engine from a Popular or Angliia 10 hp model and were, and are still very popular in club motor sports
