Without naming any names at all - I woke at 4.30 this morning thinking somebody was at my front door.  I looked out of the window and could not see anything, then I heard my neighbour's front door (round at the side of the building as this neighbour lives in the flat below mine) close.  I concluded that this person had taken his dog out and, thinking no more of it, I went back to sleep.

When I went out first thing this morning, I found that a dead frog had been pinned to my front door.  Apart from my downstairs neighbour, who has been harassing me for several years, I cannot think of a single soul who would do this sort of thing to me.  I have spent the day trying to contact Vale of Glamorgan Council (we are both tenants) and dealing with the police officer who attended.  Tomorrow, I will have Scene Of Crime Officers visiting to see if they can obtain a fingerprint from the push pin that was pushed through the frog's head.  I only hope that the frog was already dead when this was done to it.  We think we live in a nice, save community, and then something like this happens and it's made me realise that I really need to get out of the Vale of Glamorgan, preferably out of Britain.
