After many many online and offline discussions relating to the ability to remain anonymous on this website I thought I should put finger to keyboard and explain my side of things...and why this site is anonymous.

Bottom line, i cannot do it any other way.

When you register, you are asked for your firstname, surname and email address. There is NO way of me checking this information. You could answer Mickey Mouse with an email address of mickey@disney.com. The only check i can do is check you have access to this email account as I send a confirmation email with a registration code included. If you don't have access to this email account you won't get this email and won't be able to log in.

Unless I DNA test each and every member I cannot say 100% who is who. If you have really big ears, you could well be Mickey Mouse, or you could be trying to fool us and you are actually one of Noddy's friends. As I cannot guarentee a genuine name all i can do is say the site is anonymous. There is no dark conspiracy behind it.
